What happens when I reach a limit?

Nothing you already created is touched or deleted. You simply cannot add beyond the cap until you free up room or move to a larger plan. Studying, exporting and sharing keep working either way.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You cancel from the settings page and keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.

Do I need to pay for the AI?

No, and not to us either. StudyCards never calls a language model. You generate cards with the Claude account you already have, through copy and paste, MCP or our REST API. That is unlimited on every plan, including Free.

Is the Free plan a trial?

No. Free stays free, with no time limit and no card expiry. It is capped on capacity, not on features: spaced repetition, import, export and sharing are all included.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, in both directions. An upgrade takes effect immediately and is billed pro rata. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current period, so you keep what you paid for.

Who processes the payment?

Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe pages and never reach our servers. You can manage payment methods, invoices and cancellation through the Stripe customer portal from your settings.
